We had a great customized trip to see National Parks in Alaska. It was a combination of planes, trains, boats, and cars. Our travel advisor, Laura, was always available to help when challenges arose.

We are loyal customers of Carnival and after the loyalty program changes, we were eager to try another brand. We are empty-nesters and Laura suggested we try Virgin Voyages. We were hesitant as it looked so trendy and we are a farm couple. She assured us that it doesn't matter and we would love it. Virgin matched our status with Carnival and Laura did tell us to go into the cruise with an open mind that it is a different experience. We quickly learned that once we stopped comparing Virgin to Carnival, we were surprised by how much of a better experience it was. No buffet, but the food hall is way better than any buffet. I am ruined for other cruise lines. It was a great value and we are hoping to cruise Virgin again next year

I first met Laura years ago when she worked for the university. She led one of the group trips I was on and always checked on us because we were a little slower than the group. I appreciated that she cared and found ways to accommodate us. When I found out that she left the university to work on her business full time, I reached out to her to see if she had any recommendations for traveling as an older couple. We can't do the speed of group trips anymore. She suggested a cruise out of Seattle for us and arranged wheelchair service at the airport and then had scooters delivered to the port to take with us on the cruise. We didn't even know that there were some handicap accessible excursion options until he mentioned. We are in our 80s and still love to travel. Laura has helped us plan our destination wedding in Cancun a couple of years ago and we reached out to her again about a trip to Greece. She is so responsive and helped us navigate some flight delays late at night. We visited Athens, Santorini and Mykonos and had a great time. Danielle helped us book and plan our honeymoon to Hawaii! She always responded to our emails rapidly and made sure all communication from our hotel and excursions were forwarded to us. She even helped save the day getting some excursions re-book due to weather. We got all of our excursion tickets mailed to us and she even found us a great deal on a rental car. One of the travel days on the train appeared to be four hours in route and was 6 hours so it was a wasted day since the train didn’t leave until around lunch. I have to say your travel agent did a bang up job. Our cruise to Alaska was the most fun my husband and I have had in years. We were able to see Seattle for a day before our cruise took place. I just came back from an amazing vacation to Quebec City and Montreal, Canada. Thanks to Danielle for suggesting the itinerary! We are back from our trip to Scotland & England and had a wonderful time. It was so great having our agenda planned out for us and paid for in advance . We were busy from morning to night and got to see so many interesting things. We kept saying through the whole trip what a great job Laura DeRose did getting everything scheduled and set up for us. We really didn't miss a beat and only had to get out our paper documents a couple times. Other wise we just checked in and off we went!
We loved Scotland. It was so lush and green and the people were all very nice and accommodating. We loved every hotel we stayed in. The Ballachulish hotel in Fort Williams was like a picture in a book, so beautiful. They even had a golf course which Chris & Mike want to go back to so they can play! The hotel in England, The Montague on the Gardens was so accommodating. All their staff was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if we went back to London! We added a few stops to our London agenda. We went on The London Eye and went to Saint Mary's Cathedral, The Tower of London and took a river boat down the Thymes river while we were in England. I could go on and on about so many things that we were so impressed with ( starting with Laura!????)about the whole trip but this email would be pages long!????

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise to Alaska on the Celebrity Solstice! In addition to being a beautiful and well run ship, the crew and staff were very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. OMG. Laura is fabulous. She always responds quickly to my questions and I felt like she was my guardian angel. Even before I saw the alert that my flight was delayed, she texted me to make sure I was aware and made all the necessary calls to the transfer company to let them know that I would be delayed. When I thought I would miss my connecting flight, she talked me off the ledge. Luckily, all was well and I was only a couple of hours delayed to my destination.
